元代众多著名文人曾以西安及其周边的风景、人物、事件为题材赋诗撰文,这些诗文,题材丰富,内容深刻,艺术精湛,其中,关注重大历史事件为其显著特点。这九位作家为元代诗坛早期、晚期的代表人物。元代描写西安及其周边的诗文,数量虽然不多,但在文学史上产生了重要影响。这些诗作保存完好,收录于别集、选集、总集之中,便于检索,不仅是研究元代文学的重要资料,而且是了解西安及其周边的人文、生态、历史等方面的重要文献。

Many famous literati created poems and prose on landscape,personage and event of Xi＇an.These poems and prose had rich theme,deep content and consummate art.These writers paid a good deal of attention to great historical event.These writers were typical representatives on the literary world of early stage and later period in Yuan Dynasty.Poems and prose on Xi＇an in Yuan Dynasty were fairly a small amount,but they exerted a great influence in literary history.These poems and prose were preserved in good condition,they are important material that we research literature of Yuan Dynasty,study ecology and history of Xi＇an.
