传统美国外交史学与文化转向 被引量：4

摘要 20世纪90年代兴起于美国外交史学中的"文化转向",存在着无视传统外交史学与文化转向的关系、夸大文化转向的革命性的倾向。回顾传统美国外交史学可发现,现实主义传统在方法论上忽视了文化因素和文化分析,但进步主义传统的修正派史学家威廉·A·威廉斯却为外交史学提出了文化分析的框架,并深刻影响了后来者,为文化转向打开了最初的大门。美国外交史学面临的一个问题就是如何调和传统范式和新兴文化转向之间的关系。
