On Han Zhen's Idea and Principle

韩贞是泰州学派的重要传人,他继承王艮、王襞率性而为和心之妙用的思想,十分重视人心对于人的行为的主宰作用,倡导人发扬主体精神,解除束缚,冲破干扰,随心而动。同时,韩贞深刻认识到了世界的复杂性和动态性,强调顺其自然,适应社会,并在主张率性而为的同时,主张进行心理和行为的调节,万事以"中"为准,以"宜"为要。

Han Zhen,a very important successor of Taizhou school of thoughts,inherits a lot from Wang Gen,Wang Bi and emphasizes the influence of one's thoughts on ones' actions.He proposes that one should follow one's own heart and do things initiatively.He deeply understands the complexity and dynamic state of the world,emphasizingone's adaptation to society.He also advocating the harmony between one's mind and actions though he insists that one should always follow his inner desire when behaves.To be proper is the most important principle in his thoughts.
