人是文化的创造物,无论他身处何境都难以摆脱化育己身的文化规制。携带异质文化的人在跨文化传播活动中容易以文化中心主义、民族优越论之姿态彼此"矮化"、"妖魔化"对方。欲从"非我族类,即为异端"思维定式中尽快解脱出来,现代人应该学会总结与汲取中国传统文化持中守庸、和而不同、随乡入俗等交际思想与智慧,将其运用到跨文化传播的实践中去,如此,人类生活的世界就会越来越具有包容性,越来越变得友善与和谐。

A cultural creature,man cannot rid himself of the rules of his breeding culture wherever he is.Thus people with heterogeneous cultures tend to ＂dwarf＂ or ＂demonize＂ their counterparts in terms of cultural centralism,ethrocentrism.To get rid of the thinking formulae of ＂either my ethnic or a heretic＂,modern people should learn to summarize and absorb the Chinese traditional ideas of maintaining the golden-mean and seeking harmony without uniformity and try to apply them in practice of cultural dissemination.In this way,the world we human beings are living in will become more and more tolerable,fraternal and harmonious.
