The article offers the proof that technical methodology serves as the driving force of the development of histology. It holds the view that the development of modern histology is insepa- rable from the guidance of dialectical materialism. It argues that the unification of science and technology constitutes the di- alectical process of the development of a discipline. It also gives a dialectical analysis of a few issues deserving attention concerning the research into and the appliance of contemporary histology.
