This paper analyzes the present situation of periodical information resources,discusses the functions of periodical service in public library,puts forward some opinions on perfecting periodical hardware devices,changing the service concept of periodical librarians,and improving the quality of periodical librarians,etc.,and presents some effective measures for promoting the development of periodical information resources of public library.
