The paper mainly deals with the methods and steps of the cultivation and domestication of the nitrobacteria and heterotrophic bacteria in the biochemical treatment system of the two stage aerobic technique for oil refinery effluent.It definitely propounds some matters to which special considerations should be given in the cultivation and domestication of the bacteria.Moreover,the optimum running and operating conditions of the two stage aerobic technique can be determined after a series of trial operations of the system.
