贵州民族地区高龄人口与长寿文化——基于黔东七个民族县的实证资料分析

An Empirical Study of Long and Healthy Lives in Ethnic Minority Regions in Guizhou——evidence based analysis in 7 ethnic minority counties in East Guizhou Province

健康长寿是人类追求的共同理想。贵州地处中国著名的西南长寿带,其"十大长寿之乡"评选活动的相关资料从性别、民族、城乡、增长速度、健康状况、长寿延续性等方面表现出贵州民族地区高龄老人的状况特征及文化内涵,所显现的高龄与长寿现象有其特殊的意义和价值,应采取积极的措施对这一丰富的文化资源进行发掘保护和开发弘扬。

Health and longevity are universal ideals of human kind.This paper reports an investigation of the lives of those exceptionally aging people.The data used were the documents entered for the ＂Ten Longevity Villages Award＂.The analysis involved such factors as gender,ethnicity,region（urban or rural）,economic growth rate,health condition and continuity of longevity.It is concluded that the longevity villages of Guizhou constitute an important part of the so-called Longevity Belt of Southwestern China,and that,as a whole,they represent a unique phenomenon of healthy long life.The writer acknowledges the need for active measures to understand,preserve and exploit this rich cultural resource.
