Sustainable Management of Pine Bark Beetles

对多种松皮小蠹生物学、发生规律的研究结果表明：其侵入规律是首先侵入新倒木、伐根，然后侵入衰弱木；只有在猖獗发生时，才侵入健康活立木；其发生规律是首先发生在立地条件差、树势生长衰弱、林内卫生不好的林分中，林缘、林间空地重于林内．其可持续控制的对策应该是在可持续控制的理论指导下，建立较稳定的森林生态环境，根据该类害虫的侵入和发生规律，将防治工作贯穿于营林生产全过程，特别是要及时清除虫源基地和该类害虫的一切滋生条件．

The pine bark beetles distribute widely and cause huge economic damage in forest. Through many years' research on biology and the regularity of outbreak of the bark beetles,the authors found that the bark beetles firstly infest the new cut tree and stumps,then weakened trees.They infest apparently healthy trees only during the top of outbreak.The outbreak firstly appears in the bad condition site,where the forest sanitation is not good.The outbreak in the edge of forest and the empty sites of forest is more serious than that in deep forest.The way of sustainable management of pine bark beetles is to establish steady forest ecological environment under the theory of sustainable management.
