On the Chinese Translation of Russian Military Terms

军事术语的翻译是军事翻译中最为重要的环节之一,翻译准确与否直接影响到对军事文本的理解。文章研究了俄语军事术语汉译的原则,探讨了术语的多义和近义、术语汉译时的直译和意译等难点问题,总结了俄语军事术语翻译中的一些技巧。

Term translation is one of the most important parts in military translation. The accuracy of term translation determines the correct understanding of military texts. In this paper, the author studies the translation principles of Russian military terms and discusses some difficulties involved in it, such as polysemy terms and synonym terms, literal translation and free translation, etc. Moreover, some tips on the Chinese translation of Russian military terms are summarized in this paper.
