The enzyme resolution of ()4Hydroxy3Methy 12(2propenyl)Cyclopenten1One catalyzed by 4 Lipases from different sources was studied.The kinetic behavior of the hydrolysis reaction catalysed by the specific lipas from X]Pseudomonas Cepia sp was examined.It was found that there was no reactant inhibition.The optimal reaction temperature and pH was 40 and 7.0 respectirely Finally R4Hydroxy3Methyl2(2proneyl)Cyclopenten1One was with high optical purity prepared in 46.5% gield.
