摘要
光孤子通信系统具有许多线性光学通信系统无法比拟的优越性,但至今仍然没有一个基于光孤子的通信系统投入使用,这主要是由于光孤子本身存在的一些缺点造成的。介绍了光孤子和准光孤子的理论,通过数值模拟,找到了一类新的准光孤子,而标准的NLS孤子只是其中的一种特殊情况,并发现通过调节光纤的结构参数,就可以调整准光孤子的脉冲宽度,从而能够很好地避免频率带宽的浪费,然后比较了光孤子和准光孤子的传输性能,结果表明:准光孤子克服了光孤子许多内在的不足,拥有光孤子不可比拟的优点,并详细分析了准光孤子实际利用存在的问题。
Optical soliton has a series of advantage when applied in optical communication system compared with linear communication optical system.But no one optical communication system based on optical soliton has put into actual application.It′s caused by the disadvantages of optical soliton itself.In this paper,the theories of optical soliton and quasi-soliton were introduced.The new class of quasi-soliton was found by the use of numberical simulation.NLS soliton was a special case.The pulse width of quasi-soliton was adjusted to avoid waste of frequency width by changing the structural parameters of optical fiber.Then the propagation properties of optical soliton and quasi-soliton were compared.The result shows that quasi-soliton overcomes the many inherent shortcomings of optical soliton with its unparalleled advantages.The problems of the use of quasi-soliton was analyzed as well.
