摘要 A promising application of fullerene and its derivaties were briefly discussed. Water soluble polyhydroxylated fullerene derivatives (fullerenols) with excellent efficiency in eliminating superoxide radicals (O 2) can be potentially used as novel potent free radical scavengers in biological systems.
