Ti zeolites have been prepared successfully by gassolid interaction using dealuminated as precursors which were well characterized by XRD, FTIR and UVVis techniques. FTIR spectra show that, as compared with that of precursors, the 960 cm-1 band of Ti zeolites becomes more intense, which is assigned to the incorporation of Ti atoms in the framework. UVVis spectra of Ti exhibit a strong transition at 210 nm, indicating that Ti atoms are tetrahedrally incorporated into the framework. With increasing dealumination of the precursors, the amount of extraframework TiO2 in the Ti zeolites gradually decreases. The results of epoxidation of olefins over Ti zeolites show that Ti zeolites occupy better catalytic performance for epoxidation of cyclohexene than TS1.
