本文在中国和平崛起并出现儒学复兴趋势的时代背景下,具体论述了儒学复兴的十大标志。进而评析了现当代儒学的几种理论形态,展望了当代儒学复兴的发展方向。作者认为,在新世纪儒学复兴运动中,新儒学的理论形态将不是一家独大,而是百花齐放、多元并存的。现代新儒家的新心学、新理学、新经学固然有其发展空间,但很难突破经院哲学的藩篱而为普罗大众所接受,世纪之交兴起的"新儒教"虽然将在民间聚集信徒,但不可能像倡导者期望的那样成为中国的"国教"。而面向生活实践的"生活儒学"与重视道德人文精神的"民主仁学"则提供了一个有可能深入社会生活与大众理性的发展方向。

This article examines the top ten signs of the Confucianism revival in the background of the peaceful rise of China,and evaluates its several contemporary theoretical form with its prospects.In its revival movement,it is flurishing with its pluralistic coexistance.It may break through the theoretical framenwork of psychology,ethics and traditional confucianism,and extend its influences and acceptance in the public at the turn of the century,though it doesn’t mean a sort of ＂national religion＂ in China,as some has expected.It points to a new and deep dimension to the public and mass intellect with its practice of life Confucianism and democratic benevolence.
