高校图书馆在每天的读者服务中都会产生大量的用户数据,这些数据隐藏着一些与用户相关的知识。而数据挖掘技术在分析处理数据方面有着自己强大的优势。通过利用数据挖掘技术对这些数据进行科学分析,不仅可以得出读者的借阅规律、借阅特点,而且可以发现读者在自主学习方面存在哪些方面的不足,为引导读者进行正确学习做出指导,发挥图书馆的教育功能;同时还可以为图书馆科学管理提供事实依据,丰富图书馆的馆藏资源,提高图书馆资源利用率。

College library produes large number of user data in its daily service.These data hide some user-related knowledge.The data mining technology has its own powerful advantage in analyzing and processing data.Through the use of data mining technology to conduct scientific analysis of these data can not only draw the reader＇s borrowing rules,loan characteristics,but also help us find readers＇ deficiency in their self-learning,give guidance for students＇ correct learning,thus to give play to libraries＇ educational function.It can also provide the factual basis for college library scientific management,enrich library resources and improve the utilization of library resources.
