The Urgency for Seeking Legal Protection of Khorchin Intangible Cultural Heritage

科尔沁非物质文化遗产是草原文明瑰宝中的奇葩和重要组成部分。它具有鲜明的民族和地域特色,但随着世界经济一体化和西部大开发进程的加快,科尔沁地区传统文化受到了极大冲击,许多民俗文化资源在流失,大批有历史、文化和科学价值的科尔沁非物质文化遗产遭到不同程度的破坏,甚至由于传承人的逝去而濒于消亡。在内蒙古自治区建设文化大区的时代背景下,通过法律对科尔沁非物质文化资源的挖掘、整理、研究进行切实保护,以维护中华民族文化的多样性,尤显必要及任重道远。

Khorchin Intangible cultural heritage is the wonderful work and important part of Mongolian nomadic civilization. It has distinctive national and regional characteristics. But with the world economic integration and the acceleration of western development, the traditional culture in Khorchin has been in a great impact. Many folk culture resources are in loss, and a large number of historical, cultural and scientific value of the Khorchin intangible cultural heritage have been damaged in varying degrees, even on the brink of extinction because of death of the Inheritors. On the background of constructing cultural region in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, through the law to mine, inspect and research of Kherqin cultural resources, in order to maintain the diversity of Chinese culture, is utmost necessary and has a long way to go.
