We selected 2 examples to discuss the applications of structural optimization with Gaussian03 program packages in college chemistry teaching.These kinds of chemical information can greatly enrich the classroom teaching.Gaussian packages entering into college chemistry classes will necessarily make many fundamental theories clearer and improve the study passion of college students.
