本文主要分析斯坦因1907年在敦煌所得的星图手卷,认为此星图是用精确的数学方式绘制的。推断星图绘制于公元649—684年间,而非先前推断的公元940年。并与后世的星图做了比较。

This article attempts to analysis the Chinese manuscript Or.8210/S.3326：star atlas which was brought back to the British Library by Sir.Stein in 1907.After a accurate observations of the star atlas,this article has testified surely that the star atlas was drawn in precision method of mathematics.The facts have refuted the former inference of dating for the star atlas of 940,and offered a propose of the dating of the star atlas from 649684.And further on,this article made a comparative study with the current sky maps both from China and Europe.
