从汉简资料及传世文献的记载来看,汉代河西边郡的人口来源不仅有内地移民、罪犯,还有归降的乌孙、月氏、羌、匈奴、卢水胡等少数民族,他们对河西的开发建设作出了重要贡献。

Seen by the data from inscriptions on bamboo slips of the Han dynasty and historic documents,resource of population of the frontier region of Hexi Corridor in the Han Dynasty were those of immigrants from the Central Plain,the criminals with their family,and the subdued minority ethnic groups such as Wusun,Yuezhi,Qiang and Lushui Hu in that times,and all members of people who had lived through the Han dynasty period have made their own contribution for the exploration and development of Hexi Corridor.
