随着外资进入，我国零售企业在设立形式、数量、地域、股东比例等方面限制的取消，外商将加快进入中国流通业的步伐，并参与对本土零售企业的并购，这对我国零售商业来说，既带来了难得的机遇，同时也提出了严峻的挑战。本文针对宁波作为长三角地区经济发展水平较高、综合经济实力较强的城市之一，也是我国零售商业最佳城市之一，如何充分利用外部条件和发展机遇，应对外来挑战，加快发展现代零售商业，建设长江三角洲南翼现代化商业中心，进行了初步的分析。
