摘要
文章以认知语法理论为视角,从句法和语义角度对名词动化的范畴化关系网络进行了描写和分析,并指出了名词动化的理据。名词动化需具备三个条件:有合适的即时语境;目标语言形式与潜在的可以允准它的范型构式有足够的重合;有足够高的使用频率。经济原则和表达压力是名词动化的一个主要动因。
Based on the Cognitive Grammar, this paper examines the network of categorizing rela- tionships from the perspectives of syntax and semantics, and the rationale behind the verbalization of noun. Three factors are identified, i. e. , a proper immediate context, adequate overlapping of the target linguistic form and its latent schematic construction for categorization, and sufficient usage frequency. The principle of economy and communicative pressure play major role in the process.
