美国大学的经济学教材多由著名经济学家撰写,体系完整,内容全面,逻辑严谨,详略适当,图文并茂,被国内外多所大学选用,质量较高。我国的经济学教材基本上是外国教材的复制品,只在编者所在的地区或学校使用。在购得外国教材版权的基础上,结合我国国情适当改编,是当前编写经济学教材的可行路径。

Generally speaking, the economics textbooks of American universities are written by famous economists. The economics textbooks of Chinese universities are mainly the copies of foreign textbooks, and usually used in the districts and universities in which the editors are working. On the basis of purchasing of the copyright of foreign textbook and in combination with characteristics in Chinese contexts, adopting the contents of foreign textbooks with appropriate edition is the feasible way of editing economics textbook in China.
