山东警察学院的办学实践与思考

Pondering over the Running of Shandong Police College

多年来,山东警察学院以科学发展观为指导,坚持公安院校的性质;坚持学历教育与在职培训并重;坚持按山东公安机关人才需求情况确定招生计划,按需招生;坚持公安院校的专业特色,不搞非公安专业;坚持主动服从服务于警务实战需要;坚持培养应用型人才;坚持从严治警、从严治校,为公安机关培养了一大批政治合格,立场坚定,业务精通,纪律严明的毕业生,成为山东公安机关进人渠道的主要来源。影响制约山东警察学院建设发展的毕业生入警政策问题、经费保障问题、队伍建设的激励机制问题、办学硬件条件问题等四个重要问题的较好解决,为今后的科学发展奠定了坚实的基础。

Over the years,following the guidance of the scientific outlook on development,Shandong Police College has clarified the nature of public security colleges,laid stress on both diploma and training programmes,enrolled students according to the recruiting demands of public security organs in Shandong province and given prominence to the specialized characteristics of public security colleges.Catering to the practice of policing,Shandong Police College has cultivated a large number of applied talents and thus becomes the main source of recruits of public security organs in Shandong province.Four main problems have been solved,i.e.problems concerning the policy of graduates becoming police officers,financial guarantee,incentive mechanism of team building and college facilities,which has laid a solid basis for the future development of Shandong Police College.
