追求真理 求实创新——记著名果树学家景士西教授

A Truth-seeking,Pragmatic and Innovative Pomologist——Commemorating the Late Professor Jing Shixi

《沈阳农业大学学报（社会科学版）》农学家研究栏目约请董文轩教授、郭修武教授和张志宏教授专题介绍恩师景士西教授一生追求真理、求实创新的科学精神以及在果树学、园艺学领域做出的突出贡献。景士西教授（1929~2010）,中国著名果树学家和园艺学家,曾任沈阳农业大学副校长、国务院学位委员会植物栽培与遗传育种学科评议组成员、全国高等农业院校教学指导委员会委员、中国遗传学会理事、辽宁省遗传学会理事长、辽宁省果树学会副理事长、《高等农业教育》副主编、《果树学报》编委和顾问、中国农学会＂中国农业专家咨询团＂专家。景士西教授在科学研究、人才培养、教材建设和果树学科建设上都做出了重大贡献。

Professors Dongwenxuan,Guoxiuwu and Zhangzhihong were invited by the column of Agronomist of the Journal of Shenyang Agricultural University（Social Edition） to make an introduction of the late Professor Jing Shi-xi,their mentor.Professor Jing,a famous pomologist and horticulturist,is well acknowledged to have sought truth and been pragmatic and innovative in his life and made outstanding contributions to the country in the horticultural science,especially pomology.Mr.Jing,who was born on 14,Nov.1924 and died on 28,Dec.2010,occupied the positions of vice president of Shenyang Agricultural College（the predecessor of Shenyang Agricultural University）,vice president of Shenyang Agricultural University,member of the evaluation group of the disciplines of plant cultivation and genetic breeding under the Degree Committee of the State Council,member of the Teaching Instruction Committee of the National Agricultural Colleges and Universities and the vice director of the horticultural discipline group under this committee,director of the Chinese Genetics Society,president of the Genetics Society of Liaoning Province,vice chairman of the Pomology Society of Liaoning Province,vice chief-editor of the Journal of Higher Agricultural Education,member and consultant of the editorial board of the Journal of Fruit Science and member of the Chinese Specialist Consultation Group under the Chinese Agricultural Science Society.Professor Jing made important contributions in the aspects of scientific research,personnel training,teaching materials building,pomological discipline building,etc.
