The Meaning and Modern Significance of Nature "Heaven" in Ancient China

"天人合一"思想是中国古代看待人与自然关系的基本态度。尽管在不同的时代,不同的学者对于"天人合一"的内涵有着不同的理解,但是却有着一个共同点,即都体现了中国人热爱于探索自然规律,强调建立人与自然和谐关系的共同点。随着生产力的不断提高,在全面建设社会主义和谐社会的今天,"天人合一"思想仍然对于中国当代的发展有着积极的指导意义。

＂Heaven＂ thought is the basic attitude that people treat the relationship between man and nature in ancient China.Although at different times,different scholars have different understanding of the meaning about ＂Heaven＂,but it has one thing in common,that is,every Chinese people love to explore the laws of nature,emphasis on building a harmonious relationship between man and nature.With the improvement of the productivity,in building a harmonious socialist society today,＂Heaven＂ thought still has a positive significance for the development of the Chinese contemporary.
