The loanword is an important part of Japanese, which embraces the foreign languages and promotes the development of its own system. The study of Japanese loanwords will be good for understanding the charactersitics of Japanese loanwords and show insights into the language itself and Japanese culture. Focusing on the loanwords in Japanese, the paper briefly introduces the origin of these words, emphasizes the inseparation of their introduction between the development tendency of the society, the special psychology of Japanese, and a wide variety of speading channels. It also analyzes the charaetersitics of Japanese and its culture reflected in the loanwords, that is, absorption, creativeness, and differences between all age groups.
