功能对等理论指导下的大学英语翻译教学

Pedagogy of translation in college English teaching based on functional equivalence

本文基于对大学英语翻译教学的现状分析,指出了翻译教学的重要性并以功能对等理论为理论框架,采用定性描述和例证法,对如何提高大学生英语翻译能力提出了两点建议:增加英语语言文化背景知识的讲授;加强翻译理论和翻译实践的结合,培养学生的翻译技能。

This paper,based on functional equivalence,indicates that in college English translation teaching,it is advisable to expose students to English background information as much as possible and strengthen the integration of theory with practice,which in turn,would result in the improvement of college students’ translating abilities.
