China's Three Tremendous Historic Changes in the Past Century and Its Modernization Drive

近一个世纪以来，我国人民在孙中山、毛泽东、邓小平三位时代巨人率领下，为着民族独立与解放，实现社会现代化进行了不屈不挠、可歌可泣的奋斗。在自己的前进道路上，经历了推翻封建帝制，实现国家独立，走向繁荣昌盛这三次历史性巨变。百年巨变证明，中国人民只有在中国共产党领导下，走有中国特色的社会主义道路，才能达到民族振兴。

Since early in the 19th century, the Chinese people, led by Dr.Sun Yat-sen, Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, participated in the unyielding and epic revolutionary struggle for national independence and modernization. The past century has witnessed the Chinese people undergoing three tremendous historic changes on their road of advance: the overthrow of autocratic monarchy reigning in China for thousands of years, the accomplishmentof national liberation and national independence, the move toward prosperity. The centennial great changes have proved that only under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, building socialism with Chinese characteristics, can the Chinese people realize national rejuvenation, country prosperity and people happiness.
