摘要 目的探讨SMO蛋白及mRNA在食管鳞状细胞癌组织中的表达及意义。方法分别应用免疫组织化学及原位杂交方法检测68例食管鳞状细胞癌组织、35例癌旁不典型增生组织及68例正常食管黏膜组织中SMO蛋白及mRNA的表达,并分析其与食管鳞状细胞癌各临床病理特征的关系。结果 SMO蛋白的阳性表达率在正常食管黏膜组织、癌旁不典型增生组织及食管鳞状细胞癌组织中依次增高,分别为0%、28.6%和69.1%,总体差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);SMO mRNA的阳性表达率在正常食管黏膜组织、癌旁不典型增生组织及食管鳞状细胞癌组织中亦依次增高,分别为0%、14.3%和63.9%,总体差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);SMO蛋白及mRNA的阳性表达率均与食管鳞状细胞癌组织学分级、浸润深度、淋巴结转移及TNM分期有关(P<0.05)。结论 SMO蛋白及mRNA阳性表达率升高可能与食管鳞状细胞癌的发生、发展及浸润转移有关。 Objective To investigate the expressions and clinical significanees of SMO protein and mRNA in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tissues. Methods The expressions of SMO protein and mRNA in 68 cases of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tissues,35 cases of adjacent atypical hyperplasia tissues, and 68 cases of normal esophageal mucosa tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization methods. The relationship between the expression of SMO and the clinicopalthological features were analyzed. Results The ex- pression rates of SMO protein in the normal esophageal mucosa tissues, the adjacent atypical hyperplasia tissues and the esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tissues were 0% ,28.6% ,69.1% , respectively ( P 〈 0.05 ). The expression rates of SMO mRNA in the normal esophageal mucosa tissues, the adjacent atypical hyperplasia tissues and the esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tissues were 0% , 14.3% ,63.9% , respectively ( P 〈 0.05 ). The expression rates of SMO protein and mRNA were closely correlated with the histological grade, infiltrative depth, lym- phatic node metastasis and TNM grade of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (P 〈 0. 05 ). Conclusion The increased expressions of SMO protein and mRNA may be related to the genesis, development,invasion and metastasis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
