The construction＂as…as＂ is commonly used for comparisons of equivalence.However,the semantic relations involved in the construction are diversified,which make it complicated to understand and translate the construction.It aims,based on the theory of cognitive psychology,to take a systematic study on the widely used ＂as…as＂ construction in English,and put forward the proper methods applied in translating ＂as…as＂ construction.
