This paper expounds the relation between knowledge economy and sci-tech information,discusses the functions of sci-tech journals in promoting social progress in knowledge economy society as one important carrier of sci-tech information,holding that the great attention should be paid to the talents among sci-tech editors for the purpose of eliminating information trashes and molding the quintessences of sci-tech jounals (information).
