Jiang Zemin is an outstanding representative of pushing forward the development of contemporary Marxism. His contribution can be mainly divided into 4 parts： extracting the creed ＂developing with the times＂ , which is the everlasting motiva- tion and practical quality of Marxism; carrying forward and developing Marxism by looking deeply into practical situations; emphasizing the endlessness of ＂emancipating the mind＂ and indicating the basic routes of contemporary Marxism.
