摘要
在我国目前的英语词汇教学中,教育者不重视提高学生词汇的记忆技巧而导致学生只能对词汇"死记硬背"的现象普遍存在。教育者如能在英语词汇教学中恰当地运用认知语言学的基本理论帮助学生形成和掌握一些记忆技巧,将会激发学生对英语词汇学习的兴趣,从而有效地促进教学。在此将要论述的就是如何将范畴化、原型理论、隐喻理论、图样理论等认知语言学基本理论应用于英语词汇教学。
In English teaching at present in Chins, educators in China are tending to ignore the importance of memory techniques and thus memorizing new words is a heavy burden for students. If the educators can appropriately apply some basic theories of cognitive linguistics into English vocabulary teaching, this will help the students form and master some memory techniques and arouse the students' interests in English vocabulary learning in order to promote teaching effectively. This article mainly discusses how to apply the basic theories of cognitive linguistics such as categorization, prototype theory, metaphor theory, pattern theory and etc. into English vocabulary teaching.
