LTO3制式磁头的优化设计

摘要 LTO制式的磁带机用于服务器上的数据储存,LTO3是第三代LTO产品,磁头为各向异性磁电阻磁头(AMR)。本文应用田口方法对磁头的关键参数进行优化设计,如磁电阻材料NiFe、偏转磁场材料CoZrMo的厚度和屏蔽层的参数,对各因素的影响作了定量分析,确定了影响磁头性能的关键因素,从而获得了最佳的设计参数,使磁头有较好的性能和稳定性。 The tape drive with LTO format is used for data storage in server,LTO3 is the third generation which adopts anisotropic magnetoresistive(AMR) heads.The design parameters of magnetic heads,thickness of NiFe,SAL(CoZrMo) and Gap dimensions,were optimized by Taguchi methods.The key factors were analyzed and main factors were determined,and the optimized design was obtained.
