It is mainly expounded the necessity of developing the deep information service in university libraries.Also,it is introduced some service methods including constructing the subject librarian system,developing the subject service and so on.At the same time,it is emphasized that building the digital information resources is the basis for carrying out the deep information service.In order to create a harmonious environment for the deep information service,the human-oriented idea should be established,and the construction of hardware and software should be strengthened.
