Socialism With Chinese Characteristics is a New Form of Scientific Socialism

中国特色社会主义根本不属于所谓"民主社会主义",而只属于科学社会主义范畴。科学社会主义是中国特色社会主义最直接的理论基础,而中国特色社会主义,则是马克思主义及其科学社会主义在中国的运用、发展和创新,是科学社会主义中国化的新形态,它同科学社会主义既具有一脉相承的本质上的根本一致性,又具有相对的差异性,即具有理论和实践上的特殊性和创新性。这种新形态就"新"在它是符合中国国情的社会主义,是"切合中国实际的"社会主义,是有利于中国发展进步和现代化的社会主义。

Socialism with Chinese characteristics is never part of so-called＂democratic socialism＂,but falls into the category of scientific socialism.The continuous and essential uniformity between socialism with Chinese characteristics and scientific socialism lies in the basic theories and principles of scientific socialism which is the most direct rationale of socialism with Chinese characteristics;and as well socialism with Chinese characteristics is the application,development and innovation of Marxism and its scientific socialism.As the new form of scientific socialism in China,socialism with Chinese characteristics not only has continuous and essential uniformity with scientific socialism,but also has relative differences,such as the particularity and innovation in theory and practice.
