善本与清本

Rare Editions and Qing Dynasty Editions

在我国现存的古代文献中,百分之八十以上为清代版本,而其中被确认为善本典籍的文献却只有极少部分。这种现象不仅与该部分文献的绝对存世量不相符,也可以认为是对清人在文献工作方面的成就重视不够。究其原因,一是观念的问题;二是从清版文献中选择善本是一项不熟悉和有一定难度的工作。《中国古籍善本书目》在这个问题上做出了积极的努力,也取得了实际的成果,但仍有不尽如人意之处。文章就清版善本的选择问题从这两个方面谈谈自己的意见,以求方家一哂。

Eighty percent of extant ancient literatures in our country are Qing Dynasty editions,but only a few of them are classified as rare editions.This phenomenon is not correspond to the quantity of extant literatures,and it＇s obvious that the achievement of Qing Dynasty literature work is not taken seriously.Why？ Firstly,it＇s about traditional conception;secondly,it＇s difficult to select rare editions from Qing Dynasty editions,and there are not many people know how to do it.Positive effects to the problem are made in ＂Catalogue of Chinese rare books＂,and it makes some progress,which is not good enough.Advice on how to select rare editions from Qing Dynasty edition in these two aspects is given in this paper.
