“井衍沃”中“井”探析

Exploration and Analysis on the "Well"in"Jingyanwo"

楚国农业生产方式是楚国农业科技史的重要组成部分,然而,学术界对其的认识还没有达成广泛共识。文章利用历史文献和考古成果,对"井衍沃"中"井"的涵义进行考释,研究表明"井衍沃"中"井"与凿井灌溉没有必然关系,不是楚国农业生产方式——井灌的有力证据。

The agricultural production mode is an important component of traditional agricultural technology of Chu state. However, it has not reached the common recognition in academic circles. Through a textual research on the meaning of ＂well＂ in ＂jingyanwo＂ with historical documents and archaeological achievement , this article draws a conclusion that ＂well＂ in ＂jingyanwo＂ has inevitable relationship with shaft sinking irrigation . It is not a strong evidence for well irrigation agricultural production mode of Chu state.
