论蔡元培的女子教育观及其当代启示

On CAI Yuan-pei’s Views of Women Education and Their Contemporary Enlightenment

蔡元培是中国近现代女子教育的开拓者。他主张男女平等、着力培养女子的健全人格、提倡母教，重视女子在教育后代中的作用，并在北京大学率先实行男女同校。研究蔡元培的女子教育思想，对于当代女子教育有着重要的启示作用。

CAI Yuan-pei is the pioneer of modern female education in China. He advocated the equality between men and women, strived to cultivate sound personality of women, advocated Mother Education, paid great attention to women＇s role in educating future generations, and the first made coeducation in Peking University. And he was the first one to carry out co-education in Peking University. Modern women education still draws enlightenment from Cai Yuan-pei＇s thought on women education.
