高职院校的学生英语基础知识在进校后有所提高,但是语言的整体应用能力薄弱,尤其表现在应用文体的阅读及写作上。分析应用文阅读及写作特点,并提出教学对策,以提高学生的英语综合使用能力。

Students of higher vocational institutes see improvement in their basic knowledge of English,but are still weak in the application capability of language,especially in reading and writing of practical articles.The article analyzes the reading and writing features of practical articles,and posits tactics for the teaching so as to enhance students＇ comprehensive capability of English application.
