从方言和地域文化看海峡两岸的文缘

Wenyuan:the Cross-Strait Culture Bond from the Perspective of Dialect and District Culture

方言是地域文化的载体,文缘是地域文化的深层标志。透过方言形成和传播史及其所展示的地域文化,可以透析出闽台文化的三个基本特征。一、海洋文化的丰厚蕴涵:闽南人和客家人都有不畏艰险、勇于拼搏的海洋性格,走向海洋后都能与异文化的原住民友好相处,从而传播中华文化,实现中西文化的最早交流。二、多元复合的人文性格:从方言的文白读和外来词以及民间信仰可以体察闽台文化是中原文化、土著文化与外来文化的多元复合。三、在历史发展过程中的二元整合:主体文化和地域文化的整合,中小城市文化和乡镇文化的沟通,士族文化与平民文化的融合。海峡两岸的"文缘"是深层的思想情感和文学艺术、语言文字的三种质态的统一。

Dialect is the carrier of district culture while wenyuan is its profound symbol. There are three characteristics of Fujian - Taiwan culture from the historical angle concerning the formation and spread of dialect as well as the representative district culture. Firstly, it has rich connotation of Oceanic culture, as both Southern Fujian and Hakka people are proud of oceanic culture characteristics such as brave personality and the courage to struggle against tremendous odds. They are able to get along with native people so as to spread Chinese culture and it is the early stage for communication of eastern and western culture. Secondly, they have comprehensive characteristics from multi - element. From loanwords and different pronunciations for the same word, as well as the folk region, we can draw a conclusion that Fujian - Taiwan culture is the combination of middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River culture, native culture and exotic culture. Thirdly, there is dualistic convergence in historical process, i.e. convergence of native and district culture; communication of small - medium city and village or town culture; and mixture of literati and mass culture. The meaning of wenyuan is the heterogeneous combination of three layers namely thoughts and emotions, literature and arts, language and literacy.
