“天地万物与人原为一体”——王阳明的物我和谐观

The universe and man being originally one——Harmonious view of things-persons relationship from Wang Yangming

王阳明继承中国古代"天人合一"理念,提出"天地万物与人原为一体"的命题。以为天地万物皆源自于心、统一于心,而心的本质在于良知,在于仁爱;人与自然的协调共处乃是宇宙间的自有之义、本有之义、自觉之义,同时也是至善人格的最高境界。该命题强调物我即人与自然协调共处的必要性,更强调这种协调共处的内在可能性,这对于面临巨大生态危机的当代人类来说,无疑可以起到提升信念的作用。

On the basis of the concept of ＂unity of heaven and man＂,Wang Yangming advocated the idea of ＂the universe and man being originally one＂.He further pointed out that everything stems from human mind whose essence is conscience and benevolence,and that the coexistence between man and nature is both the meaning of the universe and the perfection of the personality.Wang’s idea of ＂the universe and man being originally one＂ emphasizes not only the necessity of the coordination between man and nature,but also the inner possibility of this harmonious coordination,which,undoubtedly,plays a role in enhancing beliefs for today’s human beings facing a great eco-crisis.
