Improved foggy image enhancement algorithm based on fuzzy logic

摘要 针对传统模糊增强算法的缺陷,提出了一种基于正弦函数变换的模糊增强算法.该算法首先对雾天图像进行规范化,降低不同雾况对图像灰度级分布范围的影响;其次通过一种改进的模糊化算法将图像从灰度域变换到模糊域,在模糊域内对低灰度区域进行衰减运算,对高灰度区域进行增强运算;最后将图像从模糊域变换到灰度域.试验表明,该算法可以有效提高雾天图像的对比度. An improved fuzzy-enhancement algorithm based on transformation of sine function is brought out according to the shortcomings of traditional algorithm.By normalizing the fog-image first,the algorithm allays the impact on gray levels distribution range under different fog conditions.Then the image is changed from gray domain to fuzzy domain by an improved fuzzy algorithm,the pixels in the low gray region are reduced,and the pixels in the high gray region are enhanced.Finally the image is changed from fuzzy domain to gray domain.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can more effectively improve the contrast of foggy image.
