摘要
本文对N体数值模拟中检测质点碰撞的方法进行了研究.碰撞系统N体模拟的很大工作量化费在邻近点的搜索上,机时的节约也只能从这方面来挖掘.文中对Quentrec和Brot的方法作了改进,从而节约了存储单元数和计算机时.这为在N体模拟中使用更多的质点数提供了可能性.
The scheme for the collision between particles in the N-body simulation has been discussed in this paper, The essential work in consideration of collision between particles is to search for the neighbouring pairs, which is closely related to the CPU time needed for doing it. An improvement to the method proposed by Quentrec and Brot have been suggested here. It can save not only the memory but also the CPU time, which provides a possibility to run more particles in the simulation.
