From the history of microelectronics high technology,this paper shows how it was motivated by physics.Whether from the invention of the transistor to rapidly changing computer engineering of the 20th century,or from new semiconductor devices which will create a completely new structure of computers in the 21st century,it is evident that physics has been playing an extremely important role.
