Prospect of Chinese Literature and Literary Theories in the New Century

20世纪中国文学与文论由于偏离民族文化的源流,在欧美文学理论的强力挤压下近乎"失语"。本文通过历史分析的方法探讨新世纪中国文学与文论的发展策略和前景展望,即立足民族传统文化基石,批判性借鉴外国文学理论,兼顾全球化语境文化氛围,以民族性、原创性和现代性原则、以宽容的文化心态和普世性价值观重构当代中国文学理论体系,重塑民族文学新形象。

Due to the detachment from the national origin and the heavy press from Euro-American literary theories,Chinese literature and literary criticism in 20th century experienced an aphasia in world literature.By means of historical analysis,this article looks into future and explores the strategy of development for Chinese literature and literary criticism in 21th century;that is,standing on the national cultural bedrock,taking a critical reference from foreign literary theories and global context into account,modern Chinese literary system shall be reconstructed in principles of nationality,originality and modernity with a more tolerating cultural mood and universal cultural value so as to establish a new image of Chinese national literature.
