希伯来圣经《路得记》里的婆婆拿俄米,在整部书卷里出现了两次发言和两次沉默。在《孔雀东南飞》焦母和刘兰芝的关系视野下,审视拿俄米的发言和沉默,可以看出拿俄米对路得的怨念和排斥。无论希伯来文化还是中国传统文化里,婆媳矛盾是父权制社会普遍存在的问题。

The mother Naomi spoke twice and kept silent twice in the entire narration of Ruth in The Bible.When the silence of Naomi is examined from the perspective of Jiao Zhong-qing＇s mother and Liu Lan-zhi in the Chinese poem The Peacock Wings Southeast,Naomi＇s grumbling mentality and repelling attitude towards Ruth can be detected.It can be concluded that in both traditional Hebrew and Chinese cultures,there were the universal conflicts between mother and daughter-in-law in a patriarchal society.
