新史学的时间观与文学史的分期——以晚清民国中国文学史的编写为研究中心

The Concept of Neo-Science of History and the Division Line of Literature History——Focused on the Compilation of the History of Literature of the Late Qing Dynasty and Republic of China

晚清民国文学史家运用新史学的时间观,以一个时间段去考察文学动态过程,发现某个时间段文学现象的同质性,同时又确立了另一时间段文学现象的异质性,借鉴当时史学对历史分期的"三分法"和"四分法"对文学史进行分期,而不再采用"国王即位及其驾崩的时间所决定的那种僵死的编年顺序分期法"。

Historians of literature of the Late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,by employing the concept of Neo-Science of History,examine the dynamic process of literature of a period of time and as a result,have found a feature of sameness of essence in a particular period of time and on the other hand,located some heterogeneousness in another historical period.It is necessary for them to divide the history of literature by drawing on the approaches of ＂triple division＂ and of ＂quadruple division＂ instead of the ossified approach of chronological order to divide literature history according to the time of a king＇s or an emperor＇s succession to the throne and death.
