This paper through the analysis of the function and significance of Chinese painting in secondary vocational school to stress the importance of learning Chinese painting;secondary vocational school devotes to train students＇conscious,manner,spirit and ability of service through from particular teaching practice.Chinese paintings＇rich intension and extension make itself being both the valuable material and spiritual wealth of Chinese nation,so it has important practical significance to teaching and learning Chinese painting for people on different age and culture level.
